An incredible hotel packed with monuments, located near Ebro River
Located in the municipality of Sástago (Zaragoza), his 4-star establishment represents itself as one of the most highlighted monastic complexes in Europe, built between the XII and the XIII centuries. It is placed in the former Abbot’s Palace and the building “Monasterio de Rueda’s gallery”, therefore it has great importance from a historical point of view.
The complex has important tourist, cultural and artistic value. Near the Hospedería Monasterio de Rueda, you can also visit the Roman site of Colonia Celsa (in Velilla de Ebro) and the Celtic site of Azaila.
The Hospedería Monasterio de Ntra. Sra. de Rueda consists of 35 rooms and several banquet rooms, one of them with capacity up to 180 attendees.
In the Abbot’s Palace, you can discover the common area of our complex, featuring the front desk, the bar, the event rooms, etc. To get access to the rooms, you have to pass by a corridor-gallery, the lookout of St. Peter Square. In this section, there are some dining rooms, the main one and the breakfast room, as well as an outdoor space.
Our inn also has an outdoor L-styled garden so that you can rest be go for a walk. It includes several gazebos, trees and bushes, and even a small swimming pool next to the former Ferris wheel.
